Random thoughts this morning...

I have actually been very productive today at work and with personal stuff, but it seems like with productivity comes an increase in really stupid random thoughts that I really can't verbalize here at work.  So I thought I would share them here.  My random thoughts for today...

1.  I was looking at my son's surgical area this morning to see how well it is healing and to put the ointment on it, and I thought that it looked funny outside of the obvious redness.  I realized when I got to work it looks like a philips-head screwdriver instead of a flat-head.  Can't stop laughing about that realization. 

2.  Why do people still hesitate and get all embarrassed about actually using the toilet in a multitoilet restroom (like here at my work)?  I like Shrek's philosophy on it...better out than in.  But people get all embarrassed and try to hold it in while they know someone else is in the room even though it is glaringly obvious that they haven't budged the entire time I've been there and they are waiting for me to leave so they can finish.  Really lady, just let it out!  We all do it!  Geez, no one will ever have to be embarrassed to take a dump in the same public restroom as me...I think I would turn it into a "who can stink it up the most" contest.

3.  I was talking to my credit union loan department this morning and found it very interesting that neither one of us could perform simple mathematics without a calculator...her being a loan officer and me being in the business department at work.  Irony at its best.

4.  This blog is read by mostly cmlm people, some of whom I've never met irl, even though I invited lifetime friends to it (they never replied).  Kinda sad, but maybe they already know just how random I can be.

5.  The older I get the more I believe that Star Trek teaches us everything we need to know in life.  Will talk more about that at another time!
