Karate Camp

I realized as I sit down to write this that my life probably looks pretty dull.  I mean, I am busy all the time, but most of my life isn't exactly what others would find exciting.  Then the more I think about it, the more I am completely okay with it, because it is my life and I like it.  Just because I don't explore the world like Indiana Jones or live in a constant state of life altering stress doesn't mean it's boring.

On that note, our lives are about to get a little busier.  Last night, my husband decided that Brandon should attend karate camp in July.  I completely understand and agree with his reasoning.  All his friends in karate are going to be there and will test up and he will be very far behind them.  Right now he is not far off but if he gets too far behind I don't want him to get frustrated and quit.  Second, the price includes the belt test, so the cost of the camp isn't bad considering the cost of the belt test.  So I get that.

The part I am having a hard time with is the camp is Monday through Friday, 9:00-12:00.  Trevor said he would bring him each day.  Sure, no problem for him he goes in about that time every day anyway.  But I would have to leave work to pick him up at 12:00, which is a bit more inconvenient for me as I am in Clifton and it is a hike to get him, bring him to day care, then go back to work. 

Oh well, it will work out!  Hopefully Brandon will stay motivated knowing the next belt he could test to is his white with ORANGE stripe, which is his favorite color.
