As I sat with my children watching Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, it brought back so many memories from when I was a child. I remember being terrified of the abominable snowman, and now I watch my children stiffen up when it shows up on the screen. My daughter even hid behind my arm with a little cry when it came over the mountain.
Then we sat and sang the song at the end of the show shouting out the echos. Now that is good times!
Now the kids are in bed and I am sitting here with all the lights out except the tree watching Santa Claus 3 (and browsing the drama on mlm of course).
My husband shot a deer today, so we now have deer meat for another year. YAY! I am waiting for him to get home safely now.
Jury duty tomorrow. All I have to do is NOT get selected for a trial and I am done early! WOO-HOO!
