Toys

A few weeks ago when I was buying supplies for a promotional event (that I ended up not being able to do) my son eyed a monster truck toy in the kids isle.  A few days later, he brought the monster truck toy up and asked for one.  Since I knew it was a dollar tree, aka, very cheap toy, I said, sure if he was good all week I would let him pick out a monster truck from the store.  Well, he was good, and he didn't forget about the monster truck at the dollar tree.

Every day he reminded me that we needed to go to the store so he could pick out his truck.  Somehow he managed to wiggle his way to getting 2 monster trucks when we finally made it to the store.

We finally made it on Sunday.

I had both kids with me at the store.  Now I couldn't let my son pick out 2 toys and not let my daughter pick one out as well, so I let her pick.  I tried putting every toy in front of her.  Toy kitchen stuff...no.  Barbie...no.  Fairy Wings and tutu...no.  She was resolved.  She picked her toy and would not let go.  I had to pry them (they came 2 in a package) out of her sleepy hands last night to put her to bed....

MONSTER TRUCKS!

Note she is in a dress playing with her monster trucks!  That's my girl!
