Phone Call with a 3 Year Old...

While driving home the other night this was the conversation over the phone with my 3 year old.

Me: Hi honey are you having fun with mammaw?
B:  yes, we are watching Cars.
Me: wow! that sounds like fun!  I will be home soon.
B:  (after pause) mommy did you say bye?
Me: Uh, no.
B: well, say bye.
Me: okay, bye
B: okay.  (Click as he hangs up the phone).

I love my little boy!  I laughed the rest of the way home.
