My husband has started to DVR a show, Angel every morning. I LOVED Buffy the Vampire Slayer but never could get into Angel, probably because it was always so much darker and less fun than Buffy even though it parallels the plot of BTVS. I mean come on, anyone with the name Buffy is just fun!
The episode he turned on last night was one where Buffy visited Angel. I really miss Buffy! I was watching that and now I am craving to watch the entire 7 seasons of BTVS! I see Angel on Bones and I don't miss the show. I see Giles on Merlin but don't miss it. I see Willow on How I Met Your Mother and American Pie and don't miss it, and I see Buffy as Dafney on Scooby Doo and don't miss seeing her as Buffy.
I see Angel and Buffy together and BAM! I miss Buffy. Random lines from the series have been going through my head all morning, and I have been singing songs from the "Once More, With Feeling" episode all morning.
I hope Sarah Michelle Gellar never guest stars on Bones...I don't think my TV character typecasting eyes can take it!
